Thanks for the pics! I think I see the problem. After seeing yours it looks like mine doesn't have anything there. Yours has metal contacts in there mine doesn't.

Yes it is. We both have a 16 2SS. They should be the same.

I wonder if the relay in the socket next to that one has a ground I can tap into. Anyone know how to check for ground?

Do you have a continuity tester or a vom (volt ohm meter)? Touch one lead to ground and the other to the contact. Should read close to 0 ohms for a good ground.

I have a multimeter. I'll check it for continuity. If it's not a ground is there any chance of shorting something out?

You should be fine. Just make sure the ignition and accessories are off.

I can't stand the throttle response reduction in track mode. I guess I should pull the fuse.

I just tried this Mod on my 2017 ZL1. I do not have the metal contacts where the ground is either. Also where the wire comes out of the fuse tap pointing down in the picture I have a Squire relay (K6) See in red on Picture using the pic from the SS above) in that spot making it impossible to insert the fuse tap as shown. I tried it the other way, and it does not work. I am not sure if I put the white wire in the correct position, and even turning the fuse tap the other way it may not be seating correctly. I looked for a fuse tap with the wire mounted on the other side, no luck so far. If anyone is successful with this on a 6Gen ZL1 please post a situation.

I meant to post this to the other thread you posted in a couple of days ago. You have the same problem I did but it's an easy fix. See this post/thread

Thank you so much, you have no issues with your heated seats? That is where the box gets its power from I take it, the white wire powers the NPP when on correct?

No issues at all for almost a year. Correct, it is just powering the receiver on the box. The white wire completes the circuit to allow normal NPP functions when the box is in the On setting. Be sure to plug the white wire into the same side of the fuse terminal as in my pic.

Awesome, it looks like there is no ground inside our version of the fuse box either. I tried doing it all inside the box, but outside seems cleaner and easier.
Thank you again.
