Well I installed the mild to wild controller anyway. If the only benefit is that it keeps the valves open all the time, even while cruising, that will be fine. I’ll give it a try! Here’s how I installed it into the fuse block without having to notch the cover.

Good to know the next time I forget to switch to Stealth before shutting down. Thanks SuperSound!

Np. It's good for testing wires for switched power too.

I tried this. Set to Stealth mode but it still started with valves open.

Yes, however I've been told that the valves will close when cruising below 3k rpm's. I tried it and didn't hear a difference when I opened with mild to wild.

This ^ as MLee said. I think even less that $20 and about an hour of time running the wire. Fun little project.

The CA6 NPP is improved from the 5th gen with Stealth full time if you want it.

Oops! Edit: read the thread to me you dummy.

You sure you were in Service Mode not accessory? The DRLs will come on and your 12V socket will be working in Service Mode but no accessory. I originally came across the work around in this thread.

What'd you use to stick into that ground slot? I'm having a hard time finding something that'll stay in there.

If I'm looking at the right picture, the ground slot looks to be fuse (can't remember the exact type) slot. You can cut apart an old fuse and use the blade to plug in. Just be sure to solder or crimp connect the wire to the old fuse blade.

I used a red open crimp lug and cut half of the fork off and plugged it into the ground socket

It's not an unused fuse slot (female). It's an unused slot for one of the relay looking square cubes. The only metal in there is on the very bottom. There's nothing on the sides to make contact with a fuse prong.

I tried a yellow blade terminal but it's not working.
