If you want the headers with the hi-flow cats how do they hook up. Cut the existing factory pipe and use supplied clamps? is there an O2 bung on the headers and on the end of the cats?

Brett is the "go to" guy for 6th gen builds!

Lmao I've been waiting so ****ing long for these headers. I ordered them, received them , opened the box and all it came with were the headers and 4 gaskets for some reason. I was missing the o2 harness , off road pipes and clamps. I finally get them tomorrow again ... what a headache

Reviving this. Do these connect to factory exhaust or do you have to cut some?

No long tube headers connect without cutting the factory exhaust behind the secondary cats.

That's what I thought but I asked them on Facebook and they claimed they bolt right up. I was asking cause I have the borla mid/xpipe that deletes the secondary cats and bolts right up to stock headers. So if the tsp long tubes bolted up to stock exhaust, they should bolt right up to my borla mids.

Dynatech I believe are the only headers that bolt up to the stock exhaust.

I inquired to Jenetty racing about Dynatech headers and Ted said they too required cutting the factory exhaust.

Take a good Look at the TSP headers...they are a slip fit connection both sides. The stock exhaust is a flanged connection on the passenger side. Aside from that The Borla X pipe still requires cutting the stock exhaust. Nothing out there bolts up to the factory exhaust from the Cat back without cutting. That being said It all connects right up with band clamps after the appropriate cuts are made.

Yea I was looking at the pics of the tsp header, wasn't sure if a they were using a stock photo or not.

As far as the borla x pipe. You're wrong there. Yes it bolts(pass side) and slides(driver side) right on to the headers. No cutting except at the muffler. Part no 60606... As stated, I already have it and I installed it.

I can attest, the 2” TSP headers with no cats fit perfectly fine. A little rough to get in there, but fit great. I’m just waiting to see if my wife and kids want to get me the rest of the exhaust (bullets & turndowns) before I go and order them myself....lol

You still had to cut the exhaust in front of the muffler to install it. Which is exactly what I said "Aside from that The Borla X pipe still requires cutting the stock exhaust"... does not matter if you had to cut in front of muffler...cutting is cutting, So no I am not wrong. Now you will have to cut the front of the X pipe to fit the headers or buy the different part from borla that is designed for slip fit headers.

That's what I'll have to do. I have a Borla 60606 and Kooks LT with catted connection pipes. We'll be installing in Jan. Will definitely have to cut the Borla on the passenger side to make it connect to the Kook's.
