A 2017 1SS is $37,900 with delivery fee according to Chevrolet's website...

Re-read what I wrote...

Let me break it down: GM says 4.3 for the SS, 4.2 for the SS 1LE......but magazines tests have gotten 4.0 multiple times. So I am thinking we may see a 3.9 out of an SS 1LE.

I am well aware the SS 1LE is manual only.

More like $14,000 less...a GT350 starts at about $58,000 including destination and gas guzzler.

So what do we think we can get one of these for if MSRP is $44,400?

Below $40k I would think as it's technically just an option package?

My goal would be $44,000 out the door with tax, dmv, etc...do we think that should be doable fellas, possible to do better?

Might be a stretch early on. I don't see dealers dealing real healthy on new 2017's coming in....and even less likely, models like the 1LE. We are starting to see deals being had on left over 16's that are good. But I don't know if I'd count on the same deal if I'm ordering a 17' 1LE.

Depending on your state taxes and fees, you should certainly be able to do better.

Bout time brother, can't wait to see you finally get your 1LE!

hmm.. I think it may be a stretch initially but eventually you may be able to get 3k off MSRP. I know it will be easier to get that at/during the end of the calendar year.

Perhaps Becky may have more insights? I had to bargain my way to get 2.5k off my 1SS (39k MSRP).. combine with the Private Offer I got 3.5k off total.. so I couldn't pass it up.

Total: $42,670
Not Included (or available) for this price: ELSD, Recaro's, Better wheels/tires, aero package, improved suspension tuning, head up display

Camaro 1LE Pricing:
1SS: $36,905
1LE: $6,500
Total: $43,405
1LE includes Dual Mode Exhaust, Magnetic Suspension (with more performance oriented tuning), 6-Piston Front Brakes, head up display, ELSD, aero package

Difference: $735

So a 1LE is only $735 more than a "similarly equipped" 1SS but for that $735 you get a lot more value for track performance.

I'd say the 1LE is very fairly priced for what it will be capable of!
and recaros! I'd say that is an excellent deal

Why are they so vague with the weight? Just give us the actual weight instead of making us do math.
Completely agree about the V6!!! That's brutal and that makes the 2.0T 1LE seem like a lost cause now. $4500 for the FE3 and additional coolers is a joke.

$44,305 seems decent enough. My lease is up in Feb 2018 and I bet I can find some nice used Z51 Corvettes for close to that price too.

Also Camaro SS brakes, limited slip, and a few other pieces. Like better rubber and lighter wheels.

Manual V6 cars already have limited slip.

Yeah, me too!

I got a pretty good local hook up, but if Becky can do better I would purchase through her. I want to get my PWC payed off before I order, but I only have two payments left on that.

Being that it's just an option package, all incentives and such will work on these. Plus, it's not like Camaros sell like hot cakes, so I am hoping for $44,000 out the door...

You can't really compare or complain. They really hit the nail on the head with the 6th gen and the cost is justified with the amount of tech, design and performance you get under 40k before going 2SS.
