FYI, you'll be cutting both sides.

I thought they supply a "special" bolt to address this issue?

When purchased new, they include a bolt. I bought and replaced both since I bought mine used.

I took the original grade 10 bolt and went to the local ACE Hardware. Picked up 2 Grade 10 button heads for $5... a lot easier then trying to get one from any type of shop.

I've been hearing (especially with the 2" headers) that they melt the plug wires even with a jacket on the plug wires? I think between that and the steering shaft I'm sorta leary. but I sure would love a set of 2"

I have the Kooks 2", steer shaft is fine, wires with sleeves is fine also.
I just twisted the 90 boot away from plug to make sure.
