Just asking for opinions on this deal.I got it down from $12,300 difference.I don't want a V8. Asking if miles diff. and 1le package is worth it in y'alls opinion and if 1le pkg will be valued years down the road.

Definitely... If you are going to be tracking it, if not there really would be no reason.

Cars depreciate, so it's not a wise investment. You seem to drive a lot of miles if you put 35K on a 2021. You may want to look at your primary use, and decide if harsher ride and higher maintenance cost for tires, etc is worth it. Unless you track your car often, you should probably keep what you got.

Nope, not a good deal in my eyes. Not to mention the trade excess tax bill, more than likely higher interest rate on the loan

I would only do it if you track on the road courses or autocross. Otherwise, not worth it at all. You already have a limited slip in yours because of the 6 speed manual, same engine and same transmission as the 1LE. You are only missing suspension, brakes and tires. And you can buy better tires for your v6 than the 1LE.
I know very well your reluctance to the V8, but only a v8 upgrade is worth your trade plus $10K in my opinion. Good luck. |

I commute 400 miles a week on rural roads. Y'all are right I got the right car 1.5 years ago. I love a responsive chassis. When I read stiffer suspension and chassis bracing on the 1le I start drooling. I don't need the spoilers just more damage when I hit animals or go on a dirt road. And the coolers more potential Ieaks. I'llput on my B6 dampers I got last week. Thanks for the help.

Run them both through KBB and see if there is a 10k difference. Seems high to me though.

The v61le option is $4500 and I have 27k more miles and the dealer had to be fed. I've made a few offers over the last6 months , this is the best deal .Is the car situation changing ?

As far as you, theres a couple bucks invested in new tires, so a bit of a loss. All of the other sale / finance and tax costs would bring you closer to $13k or $14K, all said and done. This is why buying once, crying once is best. Although, I can say for certain that I’ve knowingly broken this rule numerous times. I’m working on my habit…. Cars are a killer Good luck |
