EMBARRASSED BY EXHAUST
So this morning have two guys putting in new pellet stove. That said could you move your car a little we would not want to scratch a new car. So I started it up and move it. One of the guys says is that an 8 . I said yes. He said it sure don't sound like one. Will I have 4 hours to kill till there done. I will be on the phone and internet getting prices for at least some new mufflers. I just want it to sound like a v8. Any suggestions ( mufflers only) 2014 2ss rs convertible . Thanks

I'm assuming you don't have the dual-mode NPP Exhaust then, right? If you're on a tight budget.....just have the rear mufflers removed and the muffler shop can weld in some straight pipe. Seriously!!! Lot's of people have done it, and it doesn't sound half bad!!! Otherwise, I can personally recommend the Stainless Works Retro-Catback system. IT ROCKS........especially once you get some long-tube headers in front of it!!!!

Sound changes with different modifications and I would hate to see you not like your exhaust after adding headers or something. Best regards, Tyler 888-308-6007 |

I have Solo hi-flow cats and midpipes (no resonators) mated up to a GMPP Track Pack (bullet style mufflers; "off-road" version) axle-back and it's almost too loud but I love it.

Put headers on. Just headers. I've got long tubes (which removed the cats) and I've gotten nothing but compliments on my exhaust. Sounds GREAT especially when you get on it, but shuts up on the freeway.
