Camaro Door Sill Letters Peeling

The "C" on the Camaro door sill is peeling up on the passenger side of the car. Anybody know if this would be covered under warranty? No idea what caused it. It was pointed out to me by someone who was checking out the car. Will post a photo once I get home.

Warranty will cover it. After you get it covered under warranty, just get it clear bra'd (ANY tint shop can do it) or DIY the clear bra yourself so you don't have to ever bother with it again. My tint shop did it for free when I got the rest of my car tinted, now it's extremely easy to clean and safe from getting messed up

The same thing happened to mine, but it was the "A". They ordered me a new door sill and put it in last week, under warranty.

In the end, it could have just been glued back on.

Door Sill still peeling, both my drivers side and passenger sides did it. Make sure they order the right part! My chev dealer looked at the part, agreed it needed to be replaced, ordered the part. Called me in to install the part. Installed the part. ONLY TO FIND OUT IT WAS THE WRONG PART!!! They ordered and installed the door SEAL not door SILL! They also got glue all over my new car as they installed the wrong part. Grrrrrr!

Lemooreace, that doesn't look like peeling, it looks more like something was dropped on it (?). How did it get so warped? If the adhesive failed I would expect it just to lift up.

No, it simply lifted, and then my microfiber cloth caught on it when I was cleaning the jams. This is what it looked like after I tried to push it back down.

Just take a little super glue and dab or brush the back of the letters. Be very careful not to get any on your car to seal.
