2016 SS would have been nice too. That Mustang is a nice looking car and a good choice as well. I have a 2010 and don't have any problems, plus in your position you should be able to handle anything that comes your way. There may not be a lot of delusionals here, but there sure are a lot of primadonnas !!! Post some pics of the new SS when you get it. The magnetic ride is a must especially if you will track it.

Let me start by saying that I am getting the SS, and am very happy with it. That being said, that mustang is beautiful and I probably wouldn't go through the hassle of trading it.

With you being the service mgr. Maybe you can address the seat recline issue. Any insight?

Condition Some customers may comment that the seatback is stuck in the full forward position and will not recline. Cause This may be caused by a burr that built up on the gear of the seatback actuator preventing the seatback to recline. Correction If you encounter a vehicle with the above concern, complete the following steps:

It was between the new Mustang with the Performance Pack and this car, I would have saved about 5k had I gone that route, for me the "swing" was the LT-1. I was trading my 2 year 33k C7 and have grown to respect and love that engine. I surprised myself and everyone I know by that choice. Had this been a Gen5 equivolent with an LS3 I would not even considered it as the car itself was lackluster, despite my great experience with the LS3 in my 2011 C6-Grand Sport. They uped their game just as I experienced from the C6 to the C7....world class..or damn close !!

I'm worried about bugs too to be honest, but if you're buying a car for the track, why would get a Mustang GT? I think they look like Shamoo, but that's all subjective. They are heavier and have sloppy handling. Everything else can be easily addressed, but you're going to have to mod and spend some serious money above what would've been "potentially" an issue and covered by a warranty and serviced by your own dealer. By the time you address those things you could've bought yourself a used 2015 Z51 Corvette with competition seats. I get it if you're a Mustang guy, but I was never a Camaro guy other than liking their styling. I would've gotten a different Mustang to be honest. There's a used 2014 Z28 right near me that can be had for less than the new 2SS in my signature (with under 700 miles) right near me that will mop the floor with anything but the top Mustang on the market right now.
