Newbie Exhaust Question

Hey guys - quick question on the NPP Exhaust. I notice that when I am in the car (and in Park) and gun it, I get the valves open and the throaty roar of the exhaust. If I then do it a second time, shortly after, it is much much quieter. Almost as if the valves are closed again. Does that make sense, and is it normal?

I am used to being to show someone the sound of the throaty V8 by gunning the engine a couple of times. With this one, that works the first time I depress the pedal, but after, not so much. Thanks!

Try putting the selectable driving mode (via the toggle on your center console) into "Sport" or "Track" to keep the exhaust butterflies open more of the time.

Let the rpms go back down before you rev it again like back down to 1000 rpms or so. YES its normal unfortunately courtesy of the rev limiter being set to 4000.

Thanks Bub - doesn't change the ability to gun it in park when in track, sport, touring, etc.

Thanks Killa - Going to try that tomorrow and see if letting RPMs drop to 1K lets me do it again.
