Newbie Exhaust Question
Hey guys - quick question on the NPP Exhaust. I notice that when I am in the car (and in Park) and gun it, I get the valves open and the throaty roar of the exhaust. If I then do it a second time, shortly after, it is much much quieter. Almost as if the valves are closed again. Does that make sense, and is it normal?
I am used to being to show someone the sound of the throaty V8 by gunning the engine a couple of times. With this one, that works the first time I depress the pedal, but after, not so much. Thanks! |

Try putting the selectable driving mode (via the toggle on your center console) into "Sport" or "Track" to keep the exhaust butterflies open more of the time.

Thanks Bub - doesn't change the ability to gun it in park when in track, sport, touring, etc.
Thanks Killa - Going to try that tomorrow and see if letting RPMs drop to 1K lets me do it again. |
