I know there is a sticky, but most of the tires there are still listed as $300+ on Discount Tire and Tire Rack.
What about brands other than Good Year, Michelin, and Nitto?
What are you guys running on your 1Le's?

I would only run the 3 you listed and in order of preference I am going to go Mich PSS, Eagle F1 G2's, Nitto Invos. I will replace my rears with PSS's towards the end of next summer or sooner as I am getting a cam installed in the spring. The fronts will also get Michelins once needed. I want to get he most out of my 1LE, and that means great tires to compliment the existing suspension upgrades.

I am a little confused here, the tires are a huge part of what make the 1le a...1le. You are buying huge 20 inch meaty tires, there is no such thing as cheap.

Saving $ on tires isn't he way to go.

Try a different tire like Michelin PSS and see if you get longer life. That will save $ but don't buy a cheap tire.

And a long with that, the Goodyear Eagle F1 gives it the best look as well!

There are no cheep tires that go over these size rims... I have decide to go with the Pilot Sport A/S 3 and save for a set of track specific tires. I hope these Michelins will last me at least two years of daily year round driving. A set mounted etal will set you back about 1400.

You can add Pirelli, Continental, Bridgestone and Dunlop to the list... they all offer quality performance tires in the 285/35/20 size.

You bought a 1LE Tires make this car and there is a reason they are so expensive...sucks but summer driver for sure...for us in states with seasons

I love the look of the stock good years, and I do not plan on driving it in snow...in fact, I dont drive it in rain either.
However, we do have mornings during the commute than can get down to around freexing.
My concern is the dry, but cold weather performance of the stock Good Years.

If cold is the concern, the Michelin PSS are a better choice...they work well in rain and I haven't heard anyone have issues with running them in colder temps, obviously not a good choice for snow.

Ah I see now...yep same issue for me...Colorado getting colder here in the AM and I try to work EARLY so going to have to leave her at home...
Not worth purchasing more tires $$$

Luckily I live close to my work so will just go home around lunch and drive back in the 1LE and weekends of course...

Anybody have pictures of 1LE with the Michelin PSS. How do they look compared to the Goodyear's?

I drove last winter with stock tires. They for sure don't give great traction when below freezing but they're manageable.

Oh really? Highway speeds?
I drive 90% on the freeway on my commute.
During the winter, our lowest temps are usually right before sunrise..whern I am just leaving for work.
I have a 40 mile commute each way.
