yeah,retirement in some ways is not what its cracked up to be.i missed my job,work buddies,etc,.wound up working at my old job one day a week.i still get to see the old crowd,just not as often. but then again,4-12s was too much.

My old job (pre retirement) involved flying. I do NOT miss the airports, hotels, rent cars and mediocre restaurant food. Another curious thing I learned too was, the customers you had great relationships with, to the point of calling them 'friends', pretty much dropped you cold when you were no longer of any professional help to them. Viva La retirement!

one day a week isnt bad,the old lady was bitching that i spent too much on gas,etc.this way she cant bitch,at least not effectively.i retired at 63,its not like i waited till 70...65 is coming up nect month.going on our long delayed retirement cruise...now that i went back to work.i want to go back to aruba and carisou next summer...
