SLP Panther Camaro Limited Edition Announced. 560-700HP Versions to Be Made
So it turns out there will be a panther edition of the camaro. But it'll be coming from SLP, not GM. Will be revealed at NADA in Vegas, Feb. 3rd - 6th. Quote:

So, I am going out on a limb here...the Panther is SLP's new "ZL-1" as they cannot use the name past 2011, right?
I think it will be cool...and if they include a bottle of SEX PANTHER with each car...how awesome would THAT be?

The Panther is a limited, numbered car. Your choice of ZL585 or ZL600 if I remember correctly, and can be either a coupe or convertible. Will be available in only black with gold graphics.

So far rather underwhelming from that teaser image. The same boring wheels SLP always uses with a different finish, and trapezoidal fog light surrounds. Not even a more aggressive hood? And it'll probably retail for $65k+? No thanks.

So is the "Panther" supposed to be an all Blacked out version? Just don't know otherwise how the word Panther & Camaro go together. The Front bumper looks like the one from the 2011 SLP ZL1.

I think its called panther do to the color they will only be black and nothing to do with the name camaro

I think this thing will be a beast. They will most likely change up some of the exterior options, to add a bit of the aggression we are seeking. If it comes from SLP it will be quality. But yes, time for popcorn and real reviews as it comes out. I'll try to see if there is anything they are willing to divulge publicly.
But definitely a potential beast. I like the wheels. Not as aggressive as others, but classy.
