Cam Upgrade 2016 SS A8

Ok guys I’ve had my 6th gen Camaro for a week and it’s time to start modding . Thus far I’ve got the following coming in:
Ported MSD Intake
ported 95mm TB
Kooks Long Tubes w/cats
Rotofab CAI
E85 Sensor
Texas Speed Stage 1 cam (didn’t want to go larger and have to get new converter, surging, stalling etc) .222/.236 .610/.610 /113 32%FL
Everything needed to get rid of DOD /AFM
TSP 7.850 3/8" Chromoly Pushrod, Set of 16
Phaser Install Tool for LT1 Phaser With Clip
0 Degree Phaser Limiter
DOD Hole Plugs SET of 8
2014+ LT1 Head Bolt Kit
GM LS1/LS6/LT1 Wet Sump Balancer Bolt
GM Water Pump Gasket 2014+ LT1
TSP LS/LT Front Crank Seal, 12585673
GM LS2 Lifter Trays - Set of 4
GM LS7 Lifter Kit
GM Exhaust Manifold Gaskets
GM MLS Head Gaskets, 2014+ 6.2/6.6L LT1
GM 2014+ LT1 Stingray Valley Cover Gasket
GM Valley Cover Gaskets
GM Cam Phaser Bolt/Valve

Now things I am swapping over from my 2016 L86 Truck Engine:
ARP Head Studs
PRC Ported Heads
Mighty Mouse Catch Can
ZL1 Injectors and HPFP
I am looking for 600ish whp. I am also going to add a small shot of nitrous maybe 50-75. One thing I’d like to do is upgrade the timing chain and tensioner and get rid of the pos spring loaded tensioner. Can anyone point me in the right direction for this? Is there anything else I’m missing or should do while the engine is out? All work will be done in my garage with the help of my buddy. Thank you. Suggestions are appreciated. Btw this will not be daily driven…maybe 3-4 times a week on good weather days.

Much better off with Johnson lifters than LS7, IMO.

I don’t disagree. I’m using Johnson in my high hp Vette build. I had the ls7 style lifters in my Vette at 800whp for two years. They should be fine for 600hp. That also reminds me I need to upgrade the rocker trunions.

I agree with the Johnson lifters sentiment, but also if you're in there might as well do CHE trunnions.

I would go with the BTR V220. You won't get to 600whp with that parts list NA. You will need heads, bigger cam, and more compression unless you are including the Nitrous in that power goal.
