Is the C7Z eLSD the same as our ZL1? Because the YouTuber Streetspeed717 broke the one on his C7Z. If I remember correctly he was in the 800whp range.

I don't know if the diff in the C5 that Streetspeed717 broke is the same as what's in the 6th Gen ZL1. You didn't offer any references. Judging by the video I found (starting about 5:15), it does not look like mine. You can see from his video (https://youtu.be/dYN1Ztn2B1I) that he beats the hell out of that car - popping the clutch, over-reving, recklessly racing on city streets. If you completely disable torque management with your ECM tune you're just asking for trouble, especially if you drive like that. Better to tune those values like any other parameter to find the optimal settings, maximizing performance while minimizing stresses.
