If there was a product that gave 60hp and 7 more mpg, trust me you'd know about it.

And it could cost 500 bucks and we would all still buy it lol...

Now this is funny. Sorry didn't mean to start a $&!t storm. Just curious to know if anyone had the cajones to try it. Now that everyone has provided perspective on this, seems like C5 needs to be a little more choosy about who they sell advertising to. Thanks everyone!!!!

No way did you start a $hit storm bro, you just asked for advice and that a good idea. I ask stuff all the time. I love how the msrp says 399.00 but they sell it for 69.00 lmao

I've done it on my 97 LT1. IIRC the scanner said IAT was ~57*...

But in Mississippi where it hot, lots of water in the air, and fairly high effective altitude (considering actual altitude is probably 250' lol), more fuel is usually just a good way to foul plugs and wash the oil off the cylinder walls.

edit: When I say I did it, I mean I went to radio shack and bought a 52 cent resistor. IIRC its 52K OHM but thats been a dozen years ago. It was one of those "free mods" people tried long before people started selling them on EBay as power boosters for JETTA-CIVIC-VOLVO-TACOMA-FERRARI-CAVALIER ect.. lol
