Off topic but I'm on the opposite spectrum as you guys in this thread. There's 3 cars that fit the spec I want at local dealers except they all have either hash marks or stripe/s and I don't want them at all. The dealer told me they can't remove them however another forum member told me they could.

Hi guys. Quick question! I just ordered a 2017 2ss red hot conv. with the black mettalic rally stripes. Both the front end and rear bowties are black and the rear deck lid is black, also ordered the black low gloss split spoke wheels with the ground effects package. Can't decied on which stripe would match my car better. Any help would be much appreciated.

Unless I missed it, I didn't see a single Garnet Red Metalic with stripes. I like stripes but can't decide what color. Black would be ok or silver, but then dark gray would be ok. I think white would be too much. Any pics of Garnet red with hood stripes?

For owners who have stripes on their cars:
If I get the stripes can I still run polish and paint sealant stuff over it OR will the stripes start to come off over time? (This is my big fear that they will start pealing off)

Should I get white stripes for my car OR just leave it alone the way that it is?

Hi guys - I've got a black SS with silver stripes and black/red seats. I had an Ashen Gray 2013 SS and had the 45th anniversary stripes added. They were silver and red with an SS cut-out of the red instead of 45. I really liked the look and now that I have a 2016, I'm looking to add a minor accent of red with a very dark metallic gray. I messed around with Photoshop quite a bit and this is what I came up with. It's based on the 50th anniversary stripes. My wheels are actually black but I ran out of time. What do you think?

damn i think that's actually better then what they did on the 50. I don't feel like the end of the stripe on the 50 works with the lines of the car, but I like how they accent the hood scoops. and I love how the rally stripes go over the little grille and end on the lower bumper. what you've done here is a perfect blend of the two. great job!
