Of course it will go away, as does everything eventually. The 6th gen may be the end. Hell, honestly the 5th gen may be the end...who knows! It's sad to see it go, but times do change.

the thing doesn't even have a/c or radio standard and you are expecting it to have caddy interior?

You're acting as it if its not available...come on now. Its an "option" (A/C), yes its cut dry, 1 speaker yada yada yada....but for the cash...you can get something a tad slower that has it all A/C, speakers, etc. If anything in my own opinion GM should have waited and released it on a shorter and lighter wheelbase. sheding 300 lbs its still a tank on wheels.

They COULD have, but they didn't. It was within their business plan to release this car for a large number of reasons, and IMO it is to set the precedence. They are grabbing the bull by the horn this year with all the High Performance releases, Corvette, SS, Camaro Refresh, and the Z/28. I think it's a smart decision to have released the Z now before the new Mustang comes out. You'll see, the car will be hard for Ford or Dodge to even touch.

Hopefully, I hope it is hard for Ford and Dodge to touch or compete with it. I mean, I may not be on the wagon for the new Z, but I am a Camaro lover...I've owned 3 of them.
