Yes, you can ship anything like that except liquid or hazmat stuff. I even seen balloons, box of cupcakes from the grocery store shipped in the clear plastic trays, and loose bananas. The Post Office does have a 70lb weight restriction though.

The cupcakes didn't do to well, even though the label said, "Good Lord, please keep these upright" LMAO
