Classifieds (there are for sale boards here). Many people have switched to aftermarket.

Doesn't quite work that way, the OP will then have to send the brain unit to GTPprix in for custom programming.

Ahh okay, thanks for the help guys.

Looks like I'm just going to go the aftermarket route with a dash kit and aftermarket head unit, seems like less of a pain that way.

I don't think so really (yes I'm biased) but you get equipment thats designed to work in the car and its basically damn near plug and play with the kit.

Not only that but there's no guarantee of a grief-free experience with aftermarket. Both Metra and Scosche dash kits have their issues. Metra's backlight dies in less than a year. Scosche is hard to find and there are many reports of issues with interference with your key fob and TPMS sensors.

And IMO, the MyLink looks the best overall.

So true, lol I need to jump on that myself. Just waiting to see if there is any new development on the 2011's needing or not needing a new Antennae

but I was looking over the thread and it looks like the 2010 nav kit doesn't come with a faceplate and there are a couple other issues.

As a non DIY-er, I'm really looking for something that I can buy at one place with peace of mind and just get it installed professionally. I don't want to have to buy extra parts or mess with any wires or cables or wait around for too long hoping things will work.

You have to find your own faceplate currently but Ofer is working to source those, either scenario is easy though. If you don't want to buy extra parts or mess with wires or cables you definitely don't want aftermarket then LOL
