Your heading in the right direction with what you are looking for. I felt pretty much the same way in terms of not fully giving what it feels like it could stock. My first thing was a CAI Cold Air Inductions, then came he Ported Throttle Body. After those 2 were paired together i felt much more of a difference like most here regarding sluggish on the throttle and through most gears. Forget about HP as you won't see any with these 2 but you will feel much more at ease when your foot hits the gas and possibly get what your looking for at minimal pricing for these type of mods. I am sure many can touch on the best working/reliable Ported TB for you and good luck and enjoy when and if you do!!! |

Snow/Ice - weather Tour - Normal Sport - Normal Track - Track There are also transmission shift modes for the automatic. This is all worth checking in the settings. |

With a driver a 17 Camaro is almost 600 lbs heavier than a GTI no throttle body is going to make that peppy.

Also Peppy is not really the correct word for the Camaro, more like grunt. The GTI is peppy and smaller which makes it feel like its going faster than it is. You really don't want to be driving a Camaro like a VW. Its 455hp and Tq. you have to respect that type of power on a city street. You need some space to wind it out. A bet the VW 1st gear tops out at about 15 or 20mph whereas we can hold 1st gear to over 40mph. Save your grunts for the highway and exit ramps or only when no one is in front of you. Plus it looks silly attempting to ZIP around in a car like ours on a city street. Looks cool just cruising.

One would expect the peppy vs. grunt comparison to reveal itself during the test drive. Methinks after a few months the OP is missing his smaller ride. Throw on a few mods and it'll all be better.

Yes, it's definitely the Throttle response that needs improvement on these cars. Even the Corvette including the Z06 with 650hp still needs better throttle response !
Your best option is a throttle controller |

Thank you'll. Went for the TB the Soler, they have 30-day money back, if I don't like I'll try the Mamo, and will probably go for a Vitesse TC right after. Many people use both TB and TC. I'll let you know how it goes, will install this weekend.

Yes please let us know how this turns out.
I’ve been reading and watching reviews on the throttle controllers. They look interesting for sure. I feel the sluggishness in my Escalade , Equinox and Trailblazer SS. If the throttle controller works I’ll get one for each vehicle plus one for my ZLE |

so were you able to solve your Throttle response issue, have you tried the Controller or the ported Throttle Body ?
