Will any '16's be delivered after'17's start being delivered?
Because of Quality control/shipping or other delays?

While it is possible, based on the TPW groups I have seen, nobody is waiting long for their car so most of the big QC issues are resolved. There will always be a few minor QC items.
We have been told that at the model year change, they typically extend the QC time for the fist few weeks. That should be the case with the 50th Anniversary edition and the new color, but I suspect the cars that have the same features that the prior year had should sail through QC. But we will see.

Production on the MY16s will stop fully before MY17s start. Now if the MY16 was built before the MY17 was but had a extremely long quality control hold, shipping issues when a MY17 didn't, there is technically a possibility of that happening. Will it happen? 99.9% it won't.

They shouldn't but it would be a great time to snag a great deal on a 2016 that is still on the lot.
