PS - I'd have a Forged 427 in my car right now. I also would like to see a factory paint upgrade.

It ain't over yet, PQ, and 800's aren't that much more of a reach . . . the V12 biturbo AMG Mercedes puts out 738 ft-lbs right now - and it's only that low because it's electronically limited to that number.
Just sayin' Norm |

I agree PQ, so being that this is probably the last generation to have crazy HP, would it not be sweet for the 2014 ZL1 to have a LS9

i think we all want an ss 427.
where gm is lacking is offering a drag car. the zl1 and 1le are all well and good but we don't have a drag race purpose car, like the gt500. an ss 427 or 427 z\28 would be fantastic.

They do make a drag car, the copo Camaro... And placing the words Z/28 in the same context as a dragstrip car is a crime against humanity lol....

As far as sales with the Camaro I bet sales will drop off in the next year and I'm talking Camaros outside of the ZL1 (not every one can afford one) The hopeful Z28 will be the only thing to save the Camaro sales for the 5th gen IMO.
There is a ton of used 5th gens to be had right now and that alone is hindering new sales. The 5th gen IMO is on its way out.. GM should do a Retro Chevelle next.. |

Why...?
6th gen is coming mid-decade. The market for RWD muscle cars just isn't there anymore. Camaro is more than enough, adding the 2014 SS sedan is just icing on the cake.

If you want to be different you have to buy and build an older car..
