"Much more sports car than muscle" and that's GOOD thing! I also owned a few muscle cars "back in the day" like a 65 GTO, 57 Vette, 71 Trans Am, 69 Z28. Compared to my '17 SS they felt heavy, couldn't stop worth a damn, couldn't handle or corner very well - purely straight ahead performance. But they had style and looks; which is why I think the coolest cars in the world are resto modded '60's/'70's muscle with modern brakes, suspension, wheels/tires, engines, etc.

This thread has been done a bunch of times now . The last one I remember had over 20 pages, resulting on an average of just a hair over 40.

I bought my 2016 2SS just before I turned 29. I'd imagine most of us are on the younger side. If I was more financially capable, which is likely to come with age, I would have gone with a C7 I'm sure, but honestly - I think I will keep this one as long as possible. It would be neat to be 60+ and still have my first new car in pristine condition as a garage queen.

Growing up is futile, I'm thoroughly convinced as we get older, we just get better at faking it with age.

Just bought my 2017 2SS at the end of June. I turn 50 in November. The Camaro and I are the same age.
I plan on buying a 67 at some point in the future as well (after my youngest gets through with college). |

Almost 50 same as the Camaro. I opt for the ZL1 but it cost 100.000$ + so I decided to go with the normal one (V8 50th) in the era of electric cars and downsizing I thought ok downsizing is a good thing as long it is limited to the glove box.

I had a ‘67 on my 17th birthday. I had a ‘67 on my 50th birthday. I bought my 50 just after my 56th birthday.
I had the good fortune of owning gen1 Camaros when they were still considered used cars... I also had the good fortune of flirting with real women, instead of staring at my cell phone all day... lol |
