That being said, I work from home, so even with it being a DD, its not so much Daily as Most Often Used.

Just traded in my 14 2SS (which was my DD) for a 15 ZL1 last month. At the present time - under 1200 miles but it is my DD year round here in FL.

One disclosure - I work from home so I do not have a daily commute - car sits in the garage during the week (except for runs to the store if needed). The weekend is when it gets driven.

I can't fathom purchasing a car that I enjoy but don't drive regularly. I'm not knocking those that garage their cars the majority of the time but, it would kill me to drive a Honda Civic every day knowing that I've got my Camaro rotting away with my garage that I'm paying for but not actually driving. Don't know how you guys do it.

I have a 84 mile round trip commute. I don't drive the Camaro during the winter. Once the snow is gone I split the commute duty between my Camaro and a 2009 Cobalt SS.

It's all I know, living up here in the snow belt. No way, would I blast my car with the salt and sand they cake on the roads up here. Now, if I lived in the south like you, it would be a totally different story. My daily's have almost always been V-8 powered 4x4's that are still fun to drive around.

Because you live in FLORIDA!!! Try driving your nice camaro in the pits of a cold winter year over year. Believe me I have a hard time not driving my camaro in the winter but the beating it takes is just not worth it. I want to keep the camaro in pristine condition for as long as I can. It was a dd when I lived in Vancouver BC but it never snows there. But here in Calgary winters can be brutal.

Drive my SS daily unless it's snowing. Still looks like new after 5+ years.
A new Camaro is a terrible thing to waste.
