Just wondering if any one else's sunroof rattles when you go over bumps when the roof is fully open. I took it in to get looked at and they said that everything looked fine with my sunroof, so my option would be replacing the whole thing. I can't imagine that the rattling would be a normal noise for a sunroof and think that maybe I just got a lemon sunroof. Just wondering how other sunroofs sound. Thanks for helping,

Mine doesn't make any noise but I've only put 1800 miles on it

I have the same problem and I took it to the dealer and they told me the same thing "there is nothing wrong with it" I'm really disapionted with all the flause GM had looked over. where they should've inspected the quality of there production in more detail but I guess they failed in that BIG TIME, my only solution for you is to grease the sunroof tracks, I did mine and the rattling became much more less.

I've not noticed any issue with mine so far, but only have 900 miles. My question is; the dealer stated "Everything LOOKS fine w/the sunroof. Did they drive it and/or were you with them if they did? Good luck.

I had the same problem when I had mine. It also rattled when I shut the doors but the dealer was able to adjust it out.

Yes a guy at the dealership came out with me and heard the rattle (of course it wasn't at it's worst when he was in the car). He took the car to his guy to look at the roof. They said it was working the way it should and the rattle was because of the wires that the sunroof rest on that goes back and forth.

I noticed the rattle when I shut my drivers door. Sounded like glass rattling but took me a while to figure out where the noise was coming from. I found it to be the sunroof glass when I was standing outside the drivers door and slammed it shut. I could see the sunroof glass vibrate as if the air pressure of the closing door caused the glass to jump up out of it's track. I also noticed the same rattle when hitting rough spots in the road. I can't see anything physically wrong with it other than perhaps the glass somehow is not being held tightly enough down in its' track in the closed position. One of those things the dealer is probably going to say, "everything looks fine."

I was able to actually push up on the pass side about 3/8" when fully closed. I took it in and they replaced the rail on that side. The rattle us gone, but there is pretty good wind noise now. I am having them look at it next service (very soon)...

I have this too. Its at its worst when the glass is closed but the shade is open.

I haven't noticed any issue with mine. I'll have to remember to pay attention to it the next time I'm on the road.
