I hope to do it for less then $1000.00 (with out the rims and tires)

With your fabrication skills, I don't doubt you'll be successful.

Calbert,

I really believe if you went and read the thread on Speedsters (Bruce's) build, nowhere in there is there any shred of bragging. Bruce is probably one of the nicest and most unassuming people I've met on this Forum.

Personally I think it's incredibly rude for anyone to discuss what someone else has spent on a project car such as the SST. If an individual wants to question someone about an individual component they may want for their car, thats different and the money spent doesn't matter, it's the attention to detail and the total package build that has the true motorhead intrigued. If there is anyone anywhere that doesn't appreciate the quality of Bruce's build, then it's strictly due to jealously. I think of Bruce like the high end developement companies that do the research and testing of new and innovative products for all of our benefit. I've never read a harsh word from him and he goes out of his way to comment and compliment other members cars.

If you think he does it for bragging rights, then you haven't read the thread at all...and/or have never taken the time to talk to him...

If i may i have not met Speedsters (Bruce's) or talked to him, But i do thank him for the post on this thread, And its nothing to me what he spent on SST, That is his bizz not mine.

So if we may lets stay on point, more to come soon i have all the parts for the front on the car to fit the 305/35/20 With the car lowered 2" on the coilovers, all i need to get that done now is the new inner barrels and then to mount the tires.

Coming Soon.

Before you make judgment go back and read the thread in it's entirety. Nowhere did I reference anyone in my responses, also, what's wrong with someone having bragging rights if their proud of what they've accomplished right?
As for what people do with their money; That is as much my business as it is yours. Who cares? My post had nothing to do with SST, Speedster, you, Bruce, anyone else, or how much money they spend on their cars. My point was very clear. Go back and read it.
Don't make assumptions because you've misinterpreted the writing.
