That thing is beautiful. I thought about hydro dipping the rear but painted looks very very clean! Those wheels doe.

Did you lower it 1" all around ?

Love the look! those wheels are perfect for the silver ice.

One comment/question. I want to lower my car some also. It looks on one of the photos that the front gap is higher than the rear. I really hate that on my stock car now. So if I go 1" all around its going to have the same stance.

Just to add..I know there is a 1.4" available for the front, but I rather stay away from the bump stops. Not trying to take away from your thread! Love that ZL1!

These are 1" BMR springs. The guy that works for me tried to get me to do the 1.4" fronts but compaired to other lowered vehicles I have owned, this one is a breeze to drive. I side crawl through low driveways as usual but normal speed bumps are not a problem, nor is my driveway at my house. Don't even slow down... just pull in.
I had rubbing on the right rear, but soon as the mud flaps were removed, no more rubbing. absolutely no front rubbing.

I can't emphisize enough how much better the car rides and handles with the Michelins. Yeah, the are much more expensive than the goodyears, but there are many 28 degree mornings in Reno that don't have snow that I will be able to actually continue to drive the car.
