Rev-Match

Is the Rev-match feature on the Vette's programing or is it actual hardware? Can it be installed on our cars? PCM Swap?

I believe it is both. There should be sensors on the clutch, shifter, and transmission to help determine engine speed and what gear you are gonna select and the ECU coordinates it all together.

Has anyone swapped Rev-match features onto their Camaro's? Is it hard to do or even feasible?

EcuTEK RaceROM (tune) adds launch control, clutchless shift, and auto-blip features to every car it's available for. As far as I know, it has this feature for BRZ/FRS, GT-R, Miata, etc. I don't think EcuTEK develops Race ROM for Camaros, but seeing that they can adapt these features to every car they support, I would think they could support the features on Camaros, too.

I do have Race ROM on my '13 Miata. That said, I never use any of these features; it's more fun when you do it yourself, even if not always optimal.

I understood that the 2014 1LE's had rev matching. Any 2014 owners got their manual handy to confirm or deny this?

I think you need the LT1 Corvette engine and electrics to be able to have the rev-match capability. The sixth generation Camaro with the LT1 engine should have it.

No rev match on 1le. Only the new vette with 7 speed manual has it. If I am not mistaken, nissan actually innovated this feature and brought it to market first on the 370z with sport pack.

Why the hell anyone would want this on a 3-pedal car is truly beyond me.

It's funny the automatic camaros have a rev "hold" feature that I found more annoying than anything. I think if we had an automatic rev matching it would be equally as annoying kicking in when unwanted unless you could disable it.

Probably because most people only have two legs.

I have a '14 1LE and it doesn't have it. Think it would be a neat option thought.

Because I can't heel-toe very well and until I change my pedals to make it feasible, I won't learn anytime soon.

The pedals in your car are just fine for heel - toe driving....and please forgive me if you already know this, but you don't actually use your heel and your toe, but instead use the ball of your foot (on the brake) and your pinky toe area (on the throttle).

thought it was toes on the brake and slide heal over to throttle?
