I just pulled the fuse a few days ago, and I like the sound much more. My wife even likes the sound more. I just drove the car from South Carolina to Ohio, and on the highway it's still pretty quiet, which is nice.

Pulled the fuse and like the increase of sound. BUT sometimes it is nice to have the flaps closed. Like a leisurely highway cruise or when the other half is in the car. Some of you are blessed with a girl who loves the loudness but sadly I'm not! Have been in and out of the trunk a few times now so it's Mild2Wild for me! I like the fact that you can program the homelink buttons. I will gladly go spend the hundred dollars to have the convenience of not going in and out of the trunk repeatedly.

I drove from SC to OH, drove around for a couple weeks, then drove back to SC with the fuse pulled. It was still nice and quiet on the highway. I only notice a difference when I'm going slow in a parking lot or neighborhood. I like it!

Where in SC?

OP, I pulled my fuse the second day I had my ZL1. Quick and easy.

Anyone with the NPP dual mode exhaust. The v6 doesn't have that.

It is an option for the V6 in 2013.

I love the sound of the factory exhaust, but I want a little louder. As hard as it may be to really capture exhaust sound on a camera and then post it here, the ones I've heard that had headers, high flow cats, and factory cat back with the fuse still in sounded pretty good to me.

That being stated, it's not that big a deal to get to it, and after driving today and paying more attention, definitely more pop
You will like the headers.

The NPP dual mode exhaust didn't come out until 2012. I believe this is an option on the SS. Looks like yours is a 2010.
