I've had Hagerty on both of my latest Irocs. Stated value, and they required minimal photos. Can't be a daily, and has to be in a garage. Good price, great customer service, I'm happy and will continue to use them for any older cars. Haven't looked into what they may or may not be able to offer me on my '16.

I have had Hagerty on my 60s muscle car for close to 20 years. I added my 2023 ZL1 a few months ago. I haven't had a claim but have heard good things from people that have. Never insure a classic car through a regular insurance. If you total your car or it is stolen, with companies classic car insurance companies you know up front how much you will get paid through insurance. There are a few restrictions, the car must be kept in a locked garage, it can't be your daily driver and some companies have a mileage limit but they don't check how many miles you drive. For my ZL1, State Farm was over $1100 every six months. With Hagerty it is about $780 a year. The two cars I have with Hagerty, pictured below, cost me $1117 a year.

I pay about $1100 every six months with Progressive, but that's for my '20 2SS 'vert, my '24 Silverado RST, and my wife's '17 RDX Tech.

Recently switched to Hagerty for my '23 LT1. Saved almost $700 a year over previous policy with Allstate. Same coverage/deductible and insured for stated value.

Holy crap is that cheap! I pay three times that with the same company with a similar fleet. Michigan insurance SUCKS!

Hagerty declined to insure mine last month due to "excessive mods."

I have all my cars except daily drivers covered with them. Have been with them for several years. All stated value. If something is totaled and it's more than 15 years old, I get not only the covered amount but the vehicle.
My 2024 ZL1 CE is about 720.00 per year.

I got a quote through Hagerty for my 24 ZL1, i stated the value was 85k and they quoted me 2300 a year. With state farm i'm currently paying 1100 for a 6month term, which I only drive it for those 6months anyways, the other 6months its on just comprehensive for 45 a month. To me Hagerty wasn't any better of a deal, other than it being insured for declared value rather than replacement cost.

Pros: Actually car-focused, and their Driver's Club isn't worthless, and they supposedly have a slightly more intelligent total loss department to determine values around rare and unique vehicles.

Cons: When you insure everything else through another carrier, umbrella policies and such don't apply to the car insured by a different carrier. That's the only thing from keeping me from insuring with Hagerty outside my carrier for everything else.

Try NCM (National Corvette Museum) insurance.
I had Hagerty and prices went up then I went to Grundy after a couple years their prices went up now I am with NCM and they are great. You can even change mileage limits. I think they have 1,000, 3000, and 5,000 miles, agreed value and the more vehicles you have the cheaper they get.
Give them a try you can do an online quote that only takes a few minutes.

I second the NCM recommendation. I was paying about $1100/YR with USAA for my 1LE. Car is only driven on weekends and less than 5K miles a year. I recently switched to NCM insurance and my rate dropped to less than $500/YR. for the exact same coverage and with agreed total-loss value included. It's a no-brainer for a non-daily driven car imho, wish I had switched sooner.

I use Hagerty collector car insurance for my 1LE.

I also use Hagerty for my track day insurance.

Been easy to work with so far, but haven't had a claim, so I don't know how they are on that part.

Me too and they are less than an hour and a half from me.
I didn’t even realize they had anything like it till I read a post on here about 6 months ago. Plus they are super easy to work with.
