LT1 Cold Start Up info (if you have issues)

So it was 26F the other morning here in Wichita and it took a couple seconds for my baby to start up and freaked me the hell out. The engine just wouldn't turn over fast and took a second try holding the start button a few more seconds. Anyhow, I was talking with my c7 buddy and he told me he freaked out in MN visiting family when he first got the car. And he found this information which is FANTASTIC to know so none of us with LT1 have to freak out anymore.

Odd, some of those crank times are long. I guess this is why I've read about multiple C7's having starter failure in cold climates with less then 25,000 miles. Those crank times will shorten a starters life big time. No worries for me, as I don't think mine will ever be started below 50*.

There appears to be one available for the V6, but not the LT1, which I thought was strange. I think they should offer it as an options, especially with those relatively long crank times.
