I know this car. I know who owned it. I know its a buyers remorse thing. Not a comfortable vehicle and no creature comforts.

GM did to this car what Ford did to GT350: hyped it up and priced it out of orbit.
That's why not many are buying Z/28 garage queens even at big discounts and that's why there are still brand new 2016 GT350s on blue oval lots - unsold 2 years later... OTOH new ZL1s and 1LEs are flying off the lots and on the tracks near you |

Does anybody recall if the car that was first posted is the silver car that is showing on the link today? I'm looking for one with less than 3,000 miles, under $40K.

Low point sale we have seen so far, discussed on Gen 5 Z/28 forum was a few weeks back for a "non AC" CTF (non production) car at a non Chevy dealer for $41k, it was less than 3,000 miles. They had been sitting on it for at least a year and dropped from $49k to $45k and then accepted $41k from a buyer onsite. Non AC seem to be very slow to sell and have discount to AC cars. Overall anything with 3,000 or less miles that starts with a 45 or less is a lot of car for the money, if you get one starting with a 3 - well then that is a steal! Good luck, you won't be disappointed. |

thread link:http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=497647 Key information: A dealer has offered me $44k for my LAST Pre-production Z/28, #69. I will let them have it Friday morning unless someone wants to match the offer and STEAL this car from me. Forced to get it out of here due to garage space. http://m.ebay.com/itm/2014-Chevrolet...SELLING_ACTIVE Somebody already replied, but this car in specific is the last "CTF", #69 of 69. White without A/C makes it 1 of 4. The car was put in dealer inventory at 188 miles, that's when I picked it up and am the only owner. Let me know asap as the stealership gets it tomorrow unless I receive full payment or at least a healthy deposit from somebody. __________________ So for $70k plus tax you can have an awesome ZL1 - 1 LE or for $44k you can have a lightly used Z/28 for track. You can add 100 reliable rwhp for $10k or less and have a great track car that will be super fast. New ZL1 1LE - will be aswesome car - but Z used will remove the depreciation curve and get you a great track car. No lose decision here - either way you win |

If anyone is interested in a low mileage (3500mi) white AC radio optioned Z28 there is one local here in Corpus Christi. I test drove it the other day. Splitter has some scrapes underneath and air dams almost gone. Tires looked good. I jokingly offered $40k OTD because I was really only interested in buying a new 6th gen ZL1. They couldn't go that low but they said for sure they can take more off and sure acted desperate for my business. I bet $44k OTD would buy it.

A White 2015 AC Z with a little over 600 miles on it just sold in Merrillville, IN. The Infinity dealer was asking 45k for it. I was going to drive by and check it out on Wednesday :(
