Bro you got to stop talking so my garbage man why you bashing the guy because he's got the 6. To show your wife's junk your car vs his car. it's not like you're driving some Lamborghini bro. Yes your car is faster than his think everybody realizes that a V8 is faster than a V6 I bet you my 2002 was faster than yours my God V gens are beautiful but they're heavy as hell doesn't make you a big man put down a guy who's got a less expensive car than you. what are you going to do when somebody's got a modded 6th gen Turbo 4 and it beats your ass on the street you know that's coming man. I would think anybody who buys a Camaro regardless of the gen or the engine is an enthusiasts. That's one thing everybody on this form has in common is that they are Camaro enthusiasts. And if V8 speed is the only wow Factor compared to meh as you say for the V6 how is it the 2016 Camaro V6 does 0 to 60 in 5.1 seconds the exact same time as last gen Mustang GT and this Gen Dodge Challenger RT run 0 to 60 Google is your friend. have a peek at the numbers your car should be there check it against the 6th gen V8 know when you're done check it against the 6 gen V6 because that's not much behind you. 011 Chevrolet Camaro SS Compare Car 0-60 mph 4.8 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible Compare Car 0-60 mph 4.8 | Quarter mile 13.0 2012 SLP Chevrolet Camaro Convertible ZL1 Compare Car 0-60 mph 4.1 | Quarter mile 12.1 2013 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible SS 1LE Compare Car 0-60 mph 4.2 | Quarter mile 12.5 2013 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible ZL1 Compare Car 0-60 mph 4.0 | Quarter mile 12.3 2013 Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Edition Compare Car 0-60 mph 4.4 | Quarter mile 12.7 2014 Callaway Camaro SC562 Compare Car 0-60 mph 4.1 | Quarter mile 12.2 2014 Callaway Camaro SC582 Compare Car 0-60 mph 3.9 | Quarter mile 11.9 2014 Callaway Camaro SC652 Compare Car 0-60 mph 3.7 | Quarter mile 11.5 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Compare Car 0-60 mph 4.1 | Quarter mile 12.3 2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE Package Compare Car 0-60 mph 4.3 | Quarter mile 12.7 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS Compare Car 0-60 mph 3.9 | Quarter mile 12.3 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS (Manual) Compare Car 0-60 mph 4.1 | Quarter mile 12.4 2016 Chevrolet Camaro RS Compare Car 0-60 mph 5.1 | Quarter mile 13.5 2016 Chevrolet Camaro LT Compare Car 0-60 mph 5.4 | Quarter mile 14.0 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible (Manual) Compare Car 0-60 mph 4.1 | Quarter mile 12.5 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible Compare Car 0-60 mph 4.0 | Quarter mile 12.4 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Compare Car 0-60 mph 3.5 | Quarter mile 11.4 Last edited by IMadeYouReadThis; 03-25-2017 at 11:58 AM. |

The 2.7L in the Charger was a V6. I'm sure it felt like a 4cyl in that big heavy car though. They also offered a 3.5L V6.

If memory serves right, off the top of my head, your V6 Camaro may very well be about 600lb's heavier than a 1980 V8 model!! Contrary to popular beliefs, most new cars are heavier, than their distant cousins of yesteryear. Yes, most of today's cars perform better, even if heavier. First World Problems!!! Sad, I know. |

Some of you V-8 guys are full of yourselves.
This is my first V-6, and I love it. I can even beat my daughters 5.0, mainly because she sucks at driving stick. I have no complaints, no regrets. I have nothing against any car out on the road, well except for maybe a prius.

I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT with a 6.4 liter V8, he actually thought his Mustang with no mods was faster than my SRT. Couldn't tell him otherwise and couldn't get him to the track to beat My ET. I traded that for a Camaro with a V8. Shortly after my brother traded with B6 Mustang to 5.0 Mustang. I told him to tell me now that his V6 was fast and he laughed till he cried. People just don't know what a V8 is all about until they have one

Really? Hell, it LOOKED like an I-4. It was a company car. I think I raised the hood the day I got it. Nothing inspiring under there after that. You sure bout that?

good, but in the places i drive i dont even get to use all the power of the mighty 6.lots of traffic, hardly anywhere to let it run anymore.and i would hate to go to jail and be a bad example for my grandkids, bad enough the street races my son got to ride in when he was younger.used to be every friday i would go downtown, pick up a pizza and pick a few races on the way there and back(wife..."why is the pizza all on one side of the box?" me..."had to hit the brakes, somebody pulled out in front of me."

Analogy: You are saying, that you are like an ex-alcoholic, who has been sober for many years, but risks falling again, even if you have that one drink of wine at supper time? Ok, I guess I'll buy that. Much better than the "too loud" excuse! |
