I hope I'm wrong but it Looks like the same design flaw may exists at the 1/4 panel to door
opening. 5th gens always have that mismatched paint look on the sides of the car. Again, lets hope that's been corrected.

I'm surprised that the people, either multiple or single, have not taken a video of this. I sure would like to hear them.

I have no idea what you are talking about. The Camaro has hard angles, that give the paint different hues based off of light reflection. I'm sure you understand this, but I don't get the gripe? I mean...without these angles the sides of the Camaro would be much more boring. I absolutely love the way the light bounces off the angles of my ABM....it really brings the shape to life. Sorry if I misunderstood your post, but it just reminds me of the early days of the 5th gen when all kinds of people complained about the front end not matching the hood paint, when in many cases it was just the different angles.

^^^^^ Many many here have complained about this.
Every color looks mismatched due to the door to 1/4 panel design. The facia paint was a actual mismatch common on many cars. Sorry if your not getting it.

That's not a pillar...its just the camo. Almost nothing about the grille can be seen in that shot.

Sorry I know this is a de-rail, but I don't get the complaint. On my car, the metallic paint makes these angles stand out, and makes the design readily apparent. If I wanted a car with boring flat sides I wouldn't have bought the Camaro. I mean, just look at my signature shot below. You can make out every crease, every hard angle on the car due to the different shades of blue...and I friggin love it.

You can't see anything on the actual grille. It's all covered in a second camp layer with some openings cut in it for air flow. |

As Number 3 said above, the level of camo on these things is pretty ridiculous. You can't derive any conclusions from these spy photos whatsoever. To try to attempt to discern anything is pointless.
GM obviously didn't want anyone to be able to figure anything out about the 6th gen.

Since you don't know what a 1/4 panel is, there's no hope. I quit.
