Thanks man, I appreciate it. It was my first time working with any type of vinyl in a long time. It was an easy process to be honest. the hardest part is measuring it right and cutting the right slits where the 90* angles are to fold over and still cover the bowtie. But for the $15 worth of vinyl you get a lot of it. I still have a bunch leftover if I ever have to redo them for any reason.
Also took apart the chrome pieces on the bumper and plasti-dipped them. It matches the rest of the grille perfect and if it gets chipped it's easy to fix. I dont want to hi-jack the OPs post. I just want to reiterate what he said and show my fellow camaro owners that this can be done pretty easily and will save you money. I am by no means really good with body work like that. Took a couple times to get everything right, but patience is a virtue and everything came out amazing in my opinion. |
