Was just discussing C5F with a buddy, and were talking about the trouble with communicating things at the track. Then we remembered that our local drag track uses a low power FM station to broadcast the tower PA to an FM radio station... surely LOR has this, too? Would be cool to be able to do that, and have easier access to announcements this way. --- C5F Radio, anybody? hehe

the giude books/schedules were nice, but without corresponding information at the event or audible, they didn't do much good.

I agree, but for the people that don't want to race their cars, and for kids.

This is a great idea. Every track is different, I imagine - but this is definitely added to "the list" to find out.

That's a large investment, since I'm not sure LOR has Go-Carts on hand...we'd have to rent them somewhere...and then man the area. It's not a bad idea in the least. I think, though, we're probably going to pass in an effort to focus on and improve the major events we already host.

We have a radio station at the track we have it on at all of our events. I'll make sure the station is announced over the PA during the entire weekend! You can even hear it down the street at the Dairy Queen!

Nice! I'd also suggest posting the station info here, too.

The conference room did hold a great pizza party. 1 reason the "parking lot" bar won't be indoors is the hotel would NOT like the little hot air balloons launched indoors!

Haha those were pretty cool and man did they go !
looking forward to the parking lot bar again, it may need to have some more volunteer bartenders this year with all the extra people.
