You live in suprise. So does that mean anything that ever happens to you we should tell you that you should suck it up and pay? How about we start doing nice things for our brothers that have poor luck. I would absolutely be a supporter if we started a camaro owner in need charity. Terrible things happen to everyone, I vote we band together and help out rather that wishing condolences.

OP, have you ever thought of plasti-dipping the space under your lower grill?

This mod looks good and should cover that damage for probably $5-$7 for a can......best thing is.....if you don't like it or eventually want to just change the look, you can just peel it off.....

The damage to mine was from one of the neighborhood kids.....couldn't prove it but my I have a strong suspicion since my son said that his friend rode his bicycle around the front of the car between it and the basketball hoop/pole....I think the end of his pedal scraped it since the damage goes right to left or vice versa.

P.S. the girls don't look bad either

You are most certainly welcome

Best thing is.....you can't really screw it up

a little painters tape, some newspaper or equivalent for cover, spray, wait 30 minutes, spray again, take the tape off, wait 4-6 hrs and you're done.....if you mess up, peel it off and re-do it.

The dollar amount of the repair most likely will not exceed the $1000 deductible, therefore there would be no payout.

Having a 50$ comprehensive deductible with Geico is only a few dollars every 6 months more than say a $500 deductible and its great when things like this happen. I recently had my tire slashed and I was given a check for 350$ for a half used up P-zero from Geico.

I honestly have never filed a insurance claim in my life and my intentions are not to in the future either.
But I will look into the next time renewal comes around.

So bought some bumper repair kit and just put on the 1st coat.
Once I am done sanding it down, I might need to apply a second coat and then try to painted it myself.
Already looking much better.
Will post new pictures soon.

Sorry about the damage to your bumper man. it shouldnt cost much to repair. But be careful when you call your insurance company to ask such questions. Some companies consider you a risk and consequently increase your insurance premium due to such questions. Yes, I used to work for a car insurance company
