Well got the camaro back. They replaced the cylinder and spring. They had to clear peieces of the break out on the other side as well, supposedly it went through the intake to the other side. Seems just as new. Im not going to do any mods to it now though. That warranty came in quite handy, and not having to debate whether or not a mod caused the spring to break kept the wait on it down.

Yup that was my thoughts as well. I was told it happens. Not something I expected at less than 30k on a car. Has me worried for it overall, you know, that natural lost trust in ones car...
