2011 Cruze tonight

This car is simply...........great. It has surprised even me and I was expecting a lot based on the reviews.

The best compliment I can give this car is it rides and drives like a baby Buick Regal. It is incredibly solid and tight. The thunk sound you hear going over bumps is just pure quality stuff.

And the seats are unlike most previous GM cars. Great bolstering in the cushion and the back and supremely comfortable.

It has the Pioneer sound system which is really quite good, rivaling even the, dare I say it, Boston Accoustics in the Camaro.

This is an LT, fairly well equipped, but I can only imagine an LTZ with the color radio and sunroof.

You can feel just a teeny bit of turbo lag from the 1.4L engine, but mid range punch is surprising.

Only have it for the night, but so far not really a complaint. I'm currently driving a Cobalt, and the Cruze is far and away a superior car in every way.

Now it's time for the men and women of Lordstown to launch this great car and let the market judge how good this car is compared to the competition.

Clearly another step in the direction of great product from GM.

Is the Regal on the same platform as the Cruze?

No, Cruze is on Delta-II, Regal is on SWB Epsilon-II.

This car's missing its RS badges...it has the RS front fascia, fog lights, side skirts, and rear diffuser panel, but no RS badges...hmm...

Is AWD supported on the Delta-II platform? It would be cool, because it could be a STI sort of competitor with the LNF (in SS trim)

I'm not sure. Nothing I've seen says that it's supported.

The Delta architecture is not AWD capable. Agreed it would make a great package if it were.

I'm fairly sure this will be my next car. This and the new Focus are worlds better than the Corolla and Civic.

seems pretty nice. I'm not sure about the front. I will reserve judgement until I see one in the flesh.
