That sucks man, sorry about that. I always park my car far away from other people and make sure no other cars are around when I park. But the thing I hate is coming outside and seeing someone parked next to my car. I check whatever side they park at to see if there are any dings or dents before I leave.

Looks like somebodies bumper.. that round "hole" looks a screw that holds a plate.

Where in NY are you? I got an awesome body shop in Brooklyn that would fix paint the bumper for around $400

I would say $600 to fix, my vette had a similar type "incident" on the rear. That was the quote to r/r the cover and repaint it. Sucks, sorry about your camaro :-(

if you get the entire front re done so it's in perfect condition, I got quoted $680 Dealership. $595 at my buddies friends shop, but the $595 was with fixing a scratch on the back of my car from a hit and run at my schools parking garage. Im just gonna do the v6-ss conversion with my 15'

My car has been hit at work, much worse than this.

I park next to a pillar/wall so only one side of my car is open to damage. I park as close enough to the wall that there is about 1 inch of clearance to my passenger side mirror (backing in). Someone in the spot next to me cut it way to hard backing out of their spot and absolutely wrecked my car. No note, no nothing. The garage is filled with security cameras, but magically the security team couldn't find the right video for that time.

Cost about $2k to get fixed when all was said and done, which resulted in an insurance claim and higher insurance rates.

All while I was sitting at my desk... people are assholes.

I kept getting door dings from the same guy, I had a talk with him. Didn't get in his face but told him he did ding it twice. I got a ding guard I use now too. Between our talk and seeing the ding guard I'm sure he's much more careful. I'm also 4-5 inches taller and have been working out.
