Already signed up. Woot! Camarofrst was going to take to many days away this year so I'm super excited about only a 6 hour drive!

My Goodness!

The Camaro Team is absolutely delighted at the response thusfar -

......but I ask everyone to slow down just a little bit!

We put the announcement out there for a couple of reasons:

1. To let you know that we DO indeed, want to do something at Oshawa Assembly

2. To let everyone know that they need to have passports in order to cross the border -- and because it takes time to get passports (or have them renewed) it would allow people to start the process....

3. To let clubs know and plan around this because we suspect that this may negatively impact attendance at other shows. (most can only go to one or two shows a year .....and, as you can see by the posts on any number of boards.......this is going to be BIG.....)

4. To let everyone know that the Ontario Nationals would be returning to Oshawa - where, for many years, they held their show - The Ontario Nationals, brought to you by the Ontario Camaro Club, has been celebrating all things Camaro for nearly a quarter of a century.....and they intend to make this one of the most memorable Camaro/Firebird events ever......

What concerns me is that there are many plans being made - yet we have not yet announced what we (GM and the Ontario Camaro Club) have planned for you-- and this is leading to much confusion, and frankly, there already appears to be schedule conflicts.......

So please --- keep your passion and excitement, but please also wait until we announce all of the details shortly after the first of the year --

Scott... I think people are just getting excited and pre-planning. We are leaving it up to you and the Camaro team and your infinite wisdom to plan the best weekend of events for us. We will be eagely awaiting a details schedule.

I have been appointed as one of the travel coordinators after my work organizing an 80+ car Camarovan to C5Fest last year. I will do my best to get people together so they can experience the joy of cruising in a pack of several Camaros. My duty is to have all the groups in Oshawa by Friday morning. After that, we are in your hands.

Thank you Fbod Father!

There will be two...Detroit and Port Huron. We may try to all go across one or the other this year to make a bigger Camarovan

Yes. The Oshawa Autoplex has set the limit of 3,000 people for the flex plant tour. GM is currently working everything out and so yes, wait for the details which should be available at the end of January.

If I don't make the tour list...I'm hiding under someone's dress to get in (preferably not PQ's).
