What's that blob inside a new exhaust?
Service recently replaced a faulty exhaust with a new OEM NPP exhaust on my '21 v6. First, is it normal that a new exhaust seems rusty inside? Secondly, what's that blob or residue inside (better seen in the second close-up picture). It doesn't want to come off and it's hard. Thanks!

Valves that get louder in S mode, stay quiet in T mode.

The blob looks like a weld?

That “rust” looks like heat from welding. The inside of the tips can be cleaned up with a good stainless polish and a polishing cone in a hand drill.
