Thanks to Tran for enabling my account!

I suspect the rear links, springs/sway bars and IRS Cradle stiffening components are going to be a huge hit with this car |

I talked to Kyle from bmr this morning. Nothing available yet as they just got the car a couple weeks ago, he said they are slowly working on a lot of the products and probably won't have most parts out till after the first of the year. Lowering spring will probably be last and at least a couple months out on those. I have their 1.2 springs on my 15 ss and they are great product. I also ran their sways on my 08 supercharged g8 gt. I'm currently trying to locate a 1ss with A8, really hard to find so far.

Is this stuff really track tested? Does BMR win races with this stuff? Do they have a race team?

Win races? Yes, we do win races, just not at this point with this car. We have not raced it yet. Our first track outing is this weekend though. Race team? Well, we are very busy developing parts and growing our operation. It is not really practical for us to have a race team at this time. For the past 15 years or so, we have put the majority of our effort into acquiring multiple cars when they are released, and digging into them immediately. This cost a lot of money, and takes a lot of time. Our goal is to develop and test more parts than anyone else, before anyone else, to ensure we build a great foundation for the product line for years to come and can provide the best knowledge, service and tech to our customers. Thanks for asking! |

Have you ever tested a bone stock gen5 1le on the track or autocross vs a stock 1le with BMR suspension components and compared lap times? If not do you have any other back to back track testing?

I am not as "up to date" on the 5th Gen platform, because we have techs who specifically cater to each platform we support - but I can definitely get with the guys and see what our results have been. On that note, our current focus is on developing components for the 2015+ Mustangs and 2016+ Camaros. We have been the leader in 5th Gen chassis and suspension offerings for about 5 years now, so we don't have much planned to revisit the 5th Gen segment for additional testing at this time. Thanks! |
