Kleeeb, Can you take a picture from the trunk of what these look like? Just wondering if you see nothing but bungies from the trunk....would get in the way when loading stuff with the seat down.

I got my color samples today. The blue is a really nice blue. Its darker than I expected but not super dark...think it will complement the exterior well if I can find some fabric of it to wrap the door panels in

Sorry I just saw this post. I don't have the back seats installed, nor do in have the seat covers installed completely proper either. There are elastic cords that you are supposed to attach under the seat, but I didn't take my seats out to do it and the electric components under the seat make this very hard, so I kind if just tucked them in and hoped for the best. And I was told it's better to let them stretch out first and then strap the cords? I'm not sure. Either way, the seat covers feel great. The stitching and seams are a little subpar but not in a "oh my gosh this is terrible" sort of way. It's just the foam backing folds and makes weird creases or pops the bottom seat cover up, which I hope will get better with time. ALL IN ALL, they look amazing. I've gotten several complements on them and they feel like leather, to an extent. Even without being properly strapped down (there is Velcro to hold the bottom and top seat together) they don't slide around or come loose and they are quite comfy. I felt almost as if It had a different ride when I drove it the first time after install. The seats felt softer and more plush, and therefore I guess made the ride "smoother"... May just be my imagination though. I say go for the covers and let us know how how they turn out!

Old, but good thread. I am looking into ordering the red/black for a convertible. I'm definitely NOT feeling the headrest.. looks like some robot/cyclops eye dot thing going on. I like the look of the SS with the entire front being red, then back being black.

Emailed them about possibly doing it with an extra charge.. I mean it's literally just two pieces they have to swap to red instead.

My drivers side is starting to get in bad condition along the edges and seams. But seeing as I started this tread and have used them for about four years, they have still been worth it. The passenger side is still perfect though, but I rarely have passengers. Guess I could switch them, that way the drivers doesn't get more worn. Should have done that long ago.

Don't do that. Then the air bag flaps won't be functional, and you will have a problem there. Never compromise safety!

Err.... yeah; every factory seats I've had start showing wear and tears after awhile too.

-------

They wouldn't bite on giving me a custom headrest; I may just order the seats in ALL RED!

I didn't think there were airbags in the seats of our cars. I know the back parts had them.

No we definitely have side air bags in out seats.

That's what that side Velcro is for!

Yeah that's what I meant by the back part of them. I am talking about the actual seat part that your bottom touches, not your back. Is there any reason why you cant swap them?
