You can get a base tune good for 10-20hp for $350 or a full on tune for $650 good for 25 plus horsepower gain. I think I'm going to give them a try this summer

Chatted with High Tech Motorsports, They are charging $850 plus tax for Dyno tune with 93 octane, and map for E85. Is this a pretty normal price? I was under the impression that it was supposed to be closer to $600-$650 for a tune? Any input on this?

I’m speaking from when I had my previous car tuned( on a mustang dyno) which was an sti. I don’t know how different/difficult it is to tune each (Sti vs Camaro) but I never paid more than $600 for a 93 and e85 tune. I always had both. And I had dyno tuned that car at least 6 or 7 times. So to me, $850 seems excessive. Maybe they dyno and road tune it? But even then... But someone who’s had their camaro tuned can chime in hopefully. Not sure if it’s a 3 hour process or something I’m unaware of. Jannety I hear is very good and knows their shit. Thank god im on the east coast because when I’m ready, I’m going to them. Good luck and post what you do!

Horsepower Addicts in Northern Delaware has extensive knowledge of the LT1. Legit shop, with some of the best prices you’ll find. The owner is a School of Automotive Machinests graduate and has a great reputation for his tuning.

My tuner down here in Texas charges $500 for dyno tunes on auto 2016 like yours.
I have a manual and 2017 which I was charged $600 because HP tuners charged more since the encryption changed on 17's. He told me how autos also had extra $100 for transmission tune, so a 2017 auto max tuning cost would be $700, I think your $850 + tax seems really high. I never even heard of anyone being charged tax on tune at least down here in TX. What are they using to tune?

Try Carl at CJ Tunes, in St Paul. Pretty well known around the twin cities and I've heard good things with Gen V engines and E85. I've never personally used him though.

Op just ping Pray a member on here. He know what he is doing, works hard for you, and share information about what he is doing. Besides pure remote tuning he will do remote on your at your local dyno or at the track. Go to the bolton section.
