This may look more like a catfish then the 02 camaro...Ill wait to pass judgment. I dont hste it, i just can believe the Mustang will look so much like what the rest of fords lineup looks like. I am very interested to see what it looks like with all the camo off it..

Yea there is alot of corparate design that is repeated on most models from all car manufacturers but, there are models that dont. The corvette and camaro are GM's "stand out from the crowd models".
Ford USED TO have one called the Mustang, but in 2015 it will be renamed the Ford Fusion Vanquish

Sure, recently (well..starting in '03 with the Terminator) horsepower numbers have been relatively close, but the Vette is, and will continue to perform at a higher level than Mustangs. Seriously, it takes my car 662 hp to compete with a 505hp C5Z, and next years 450ish hp base/z51 will be nearly as quick.

If anything the Mustang over achieves in some performance metrics, but its definitely not aiming at the Corvette any time soon.

With a top dog Vette, no. But with a base or mid model, why not, as the new Mustang is performance testing along side a Boss 302S race car.

For me, its too early to pass judgement. Sure, these photos reveal a lot, and I'm excited to see them. But upon first glance and without really thinking about it I feel it looks very sporty, but not spectactular.

But with the rest of the car revealed, with a painted body, the lights, and shiny parts put on it will look very very different than the little bit we are seeing here.

I will wait to give my final judgement.

What I will say is that I hope GM is not afraid to let the Camaro to have its own look, its own personality, instead of making it look like the rest of the fleet.
