Exclamation WEAPON-X Griptec Pulleys: Stock Eaton, Whipple, and Procharger!

We offer custom sized Griptec pulleys for several superchargers currently in a wide variety of sizes! This patented technology reduces the slip on the hit when the bypass valve closes and all of that air shocks the belt/tensioner system and although you might not feel or see any slip, there is a static belt slip that does occur. This is eliminated with these pulleys to build more boost faster, thus getting that power to the ground!

We offer belts and custom pulley configurations with uppers and lowers that come from tried and true testing

Eaton 1.7L Stock Blower pulleys:
The stock pulley is a 2.5" but you can go down to a 2.3" (9%) upper pulley without being machined, down to a 2.175" (15%) with machining (which we offer in-house as well and can port to a 103mm inlet too )

GripTec® Micro is a micro machining process. Our micro machining capabilities are near limitless and we apply our technology to give the target component the desired friction coefficient that optimizes the safest most aggressive gripping force possible. Our multi-directional machined ridges and valleys offer up more than just maximum gripping force they also act as escape ducts for trapped air and debris further helping in the mating of the target surface and belt. US Patent 9,421,637

GripTec® Weld is micro welding process that infuses a combination of metals and or engineered aggregate on the µ scale to achieve an engineered surface. Our welding process is near limitless and we apply our technology to give the target component the desired friction coefficient that optimizes the safest most aggressive gripping force possible and adding in some cases a more durable surface coat than the base material. US Patent 8,931,156

Belt slip is a very common issue on supercharged components. In fact some units cranking out as much as 14-16 psi can take up to 200hp to drive. Often the drive systems are plagued with slippage issues and builders find themselves moving to noisy cog systems, where belts have shorter life spans, are difficult to find at just any parts store and they can create more heat through the frictional movement of the cogs.

Belt slip isn't always noticeable. Often belt slip is noticed when the system squeals, squeaks or boost falls off. Did you know that naturally the belt can slip a very small percentage even on NA vehicles, one major factor to belts wearing. Belt wrap does play a key factor in minimizing belt movement but when it comes to driving a supercharger is hard to fully eliminate with just surface contact. Systems running 3.4 upper pulleys can see as much as a 1.5 psi gain when matching size for size pulleys.

Whether you are running 6 psi or 20+ psi you are slipping if you are not running GripTec®
