New ss
Well I just bought a 2012 camaro ss automatic with only 2400miles on it 2 Saturdays ago for 29k at a Chevy dealer in Maryland. I went to that dealer intending on buying a trade in car which was a 12 mustang gt. Anyhow the guy retraded in his camaro to get his stang back so I ended up getting his trade in ss. Yes I was very upset because I traveled 700 miles to do the deal lol. Even though I could have just walked away I gave the camaro a shot and I was very pleased with it. Long story short I'm keeping the camaro and will soon look for mods to do to it.
Overall I'm happy with car and when the funds come available I will start off with intake and headers with full exhaust then either put a supercharger or turbo on it. Leaning on the turbo side because I can fabricate my own system. I will post some pics when I can get to my laptop. Here they are enjoy http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/...ps324c9f30.jpg http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/...psea247026.jpg http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/...psef3a97d0.jpg http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/...ps212d896f.jpg Here is a performance shop that has this which inspired me even though i have the l99. This car is pushing 600rwhp. http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7bab62fc.jpg Last edited by Richtq; 02-02-2013 at 11:58 AM. |

The Camaro is definitely a more satisfying car to drive. You'll be very happy.
I just wanted to welcome you to Camaro5. Spit your Mustang nonsense elsewhere.

I already have a couple of mustangs so changing it up ain't bad. My good friends are Chevy boys so I got help in that area actually there the ones that got me in the car. I like the ls platforms so I will adapt easy.

Congrats and welcome! If you plan on doing a turbo down the road, there is no need for headers or an intake, unless you are planning this in the distant future . Just an FYI.

Just got a see what will be better but for know i will enjoy the car when i can and when im home. Pics coming in a few minutes back at the beggining of the thread.

Traded my 2010 Mustang Gt for a 2011 Camaro SS. I'm much happier with the Camaro.
