5 or more people in a Camaro?

The other day I wanted to go to the movies with my friends and there were 5 of us and only 1 Camaro. They still wanted to go (and some of them had never been in a Camaro before) so we decided to squeeze 3 people in the back and head off to the mall.

I was just wondering if anyone else has driven with 5 or even more people in there Camaro at once??

Yes, ive done it a few times. Also picked up 3 other out of town businessmen with luggage on a handful of occasions.

I've been in my back seat, about 9 months after I bought it I climbed back there just to see, no fun getting in and out, and I don't fit, not a tall person, 5'8" or so, but I cannot sit up straight back there, neck is completely crooked.

I've never let anyone ride in my back seat, that will probably change next April or May with the Bama Coast Cruise or whatever in Gulf Shores, going to stick a booster in the back seat for my nephew, and my mom, brother, nephew, and I are going. My mom will have to ride in the back, she's short.

lol... I've only done 4 adults and 1 child... sucks for the person stuck in the middle..

the backseat was one minor reason to getting a Camaro... a friend will usually have a more accommodating car for a group

.:edit:.

How in the hell did you do that? My son is 6'1" and he barely fits in the back of my Camaro by himself.

I've fit three skinny girls in the back on the short drive to the bar one night. You've only got seat belts for two though so it's never a good idea.

I know I am going to sound like a party pooper, but I adjust serious injury claims (death, broken bones, paralyzation), and I would seriously urge you guys not to do it.

Usually when I get a claim, someone wasn't wearing a seatbelt and more often than not they end up with their skull through the windshield. In the back middle, a kid is likely to get seriously injured and an adult is likely to die or get paralyzed. Hitting your head against the ceiling because it's cocked sideways to fit doesn't bode well at 50 mph.

I enjoy these cars as much as the next guy, but I get to see the consequences of this a lot. Please drive safe.
